Meet the BOE Candidates 2024

Disclaimer: Meet the Candidates is a non-partisan annual event held for community education. This site is meant to be a resource for Webster residents. This event shall not be considered an endorsement or in support of any candidate.

Meet the Candidates Event:

As there are 2 candidates for 2 seats, a live event will not be held  in 2024.  PTSA will still collect and distribute questions from the public for candidates to address at will.  We will share answers if and when they are received.

About the Election: May 21st, 2024 https://www.websterschools.org/districtpage.cfm?pageid=1869

Community residents will be asked to elect a number of individuals (depending on open positions) for three-year terms to the board of education. The candidates receiving the greatest number of votes will be deemed elected and will begin their terms of office on July 1, 2024.

Click here for more information about the roles and responsibilities of the board members or here for FAQ's.   The WCSD Board of Education webpage will post the procedure for applying for board positions when the application period opens.

Candidate Questions:

Central PTSA asks the public to submit questions for the candidates on an anonymous google form through May 8th. https://forms.gle/W4eFtZDAUqzGeiY88

Bios and Photos:

With the candidate's permission, PTSA shares their photos and bios directly from the BOE Election webpage.  Board members serve without pay and are listed as they will appear on the ballot.
