Apply for a WC PTSA Grant
WC PTSA makes grants available to students, WCSD staff, parents and community members and organizations in order to further our mission and purpose. Proposals must serve a spectrum of WCSD children. We cannot consider projects that support an individual, and do not favor purchasing goods (which may carry liability, are subject to loss, theft, and damage). It's our mission to be a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for the education and wellbeing of every child.
Grant Requests must align with one or more of the following areas:
Promote the health and welfare of WCSD children
Bring closer the relationship of home and school through the promotion of family engagement
Support student success through strong parent, family, and community involvement
Support Arts Education
Additional considerations:
WC PTSA members will receive priority consideration.
All community members are invited to join WC PTSA.
How funds are disbursed:
Please anticipate 3-6 weeks for review by the Grant Committee and approval by the Executive Board.
When possible and appropriate, payments will be made directly to vendors, please be prepared to provide invoices to facilitate payment.
Once our available grant funds are allocated for the year, we will disable the online application until the next year's budget is available.
For 2023-24 we have a budget of $500.
Grant recipients must:
Expend grant funds by June 15 of current school year.
Submit a report evaluating the project outcome, including an accounting of actual expenditures to: GrantCmte@websterptsa.org within 30 days after project completion. Photos appreciated with your permission to share them publicly for PR purposes.
Any funds not used for the purpose stated on the original grant application must be returned to: Webster Central PTSA, 119 South Ave, Webster, NY 14580 as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after project completion, so that those funds can be reallocated to another project.
