Meet the BOE Candidates 2024

Disclaimer: Meet the Candidates is a non-partisan annual event held for community education. This site is meant to be a resource for Webster residents. This event shall not be considered an endorsement or in support of any candidate. 

Meet the Candidates Event:

The Meet the Candidates Event, hosted by Webster Central PTSA,  is scheduled for Thursday, May 15th, 2024 at 7pm.  The event will be live streamed and recorded.  The video will be posted here when it becomes available.

About the Election:

Community residents will be asked to elect a number of individuals (depending on open positions) for three-year terms to the board of education. The candidates receiving the greatest number of votes will be deemed elected and will begin their terms of office on July 1, 2024.

Candidate Questions: 

Central PTSA asks the public to submit questions for the candidates on an anonymous google form.  

After the submission period has ended, questions are sorted by topic and then submitted to the Central PTSA executive board for selection for the event. The complete list of questions is given to candidates post-event, for them to address in their own public format. 

Bios and Photos:

With the candidate's permission, PTSA shares their photos and bios directly from the BOE Election webpage.  Board members serve without pay and are listed as they will appear on the ballot.
